Engineering Manager


The Position:

A great opportunity exists in our team for a Engineering Manager. The position will oversee the day to day operations of an engineering design office on a variety of projects typically related to:
  • Residential Subdivisions
  • VicRoads Intersection Treatments
  • Local Government Infrastructure
  • Water Authority Infrastructure
The position will provide the successful applicant the opportunity to work and oversee all components of the Land Development industry by coordinating and and managing an established team.
You will report to the Directors of the consultancy.

Key Requirements:

To succeed in this position you will have the following:
  • A degree Civil Engineering with experience in the managing staff and controlling financial management of projects
  • Proven Project Management Capabilities
  • An understanding of the business/ organisation/ marketing aspects of land development consulting
  • Experience and knowledge of the standards adopted by the various Councils, Retail Water Authorities, Melbourne Water and VicRoads,
  • Experience with relevant Australian Engineering Standards
  • Understanding of and ability to work within a Quality Assured office
  • Ability to work within a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work without supervision and to manage time and work proficiently.
