12D Civil Design Engineer
The Position:
A great opportunity exists in our Civil Engineering team for a 12D Civil Design Engineer. The position will offer design and documentation works on a variety of projects typically related to:
- Residential Subdivisions
- VicRoads Intersection Treatments
- Local Government Infrastructure
- Water Authority Infrastructure
The position will provide the successful applicant the opportunity to work on all components of the project (Road and Drainage Works, Sewer Reticulation, Sewer Pump Stations, Water Reticulation, Main Drainage, etc.).
You will report to the Senior Design Manager and the Directors of the consultancy.
Key Requirements:
To succeed in this position you will have the following:
- A degree or diploma in Civil Engineering (or equivalent experience) with experience in the design of civil engineering projects ideally of 2+ years,
- Experience with 12D design software and AutoCAD,
- Experience and knowledge of the standards adopted by the various Councils, Retail Water Authorities, Melbourne Water and VicRoads,
- Experience with relevant Australian Engineering Standards
- Understanding of and ability to work within a Quality Assured office
- Ability to work within a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work without supervision and to manage time and work proficiently.
